Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineer Staff in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania

This position Is located in Valley Forge and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This Electronics Engineer Staff position supports the overall AVE IPT Avionics Team acting as the Re-Entry System Electronics Engineer with the main focus being the safe unit design, development and production. This includes allocating requirements, defining and detailing electrical interfaces, defining and developing requirements for nuclear surety related arm and safing devices and creating the Re-Entry System Electronics specifications. Also required will be schematic generation and schematic capture, printed wiring board layout oversight, parts selection, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) resource allocation, FPGA or ASIC design requirements, parts stress analysis, board worst case analysis, and board and box test development. The engineer will work with Design Leads and other Subject Matter Experts to understand the hardware and systems, and apply circuit design and troubleshooting principles to develop new and improve existing electronics hardware. Developing necessary plans, schedules and budgets as well as periodic statusing and developing recovery plans as required. The candidate must function well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.

Basic Qualifications - Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and/or techniques. - Demonstrated usage of Zuken, Mentor Graphics or other schematic capture tool. - Knowledge of nuclear surety arm and safing requirements and implementations - Knowledge of box and card design and test requirements and process.
