Lockheed Martin Full Stack Solutions Engineer in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania
A Full Stack Solutions Engineer, who supports DCI/I2 Labs, I2 Cloud Acceleration Office, Demand process via ServiceNow requests, and Cloud Agile Development Team (ADT) service onboarding and utilization within the Data Center Infrastructure (DCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Our efforts will be focused on technology exploration, evaluation, demonstration, design, development, and deployment of complex cloud-centric infrastructure, platform, and application services both on and off premise as part of the LM Enterprise Data Center ecosystem. Additionally, there is an expectation the candidate will consume new concepts and technologies quickly, become a Subject-Matter-Expert in both current and future DCI/I2 technologies and services, as well as be able to educate technologists on their applicability and usage. The overall intent is to work closely with DCI and I2 management, and various architecture, engineering, security, operations and customer teams to develop future plans, schedules, solutions, and provide input into presentations and/or Engineering and Architecture Reviews both at the DCI and I2 level.
Basic Qualifications • Demonstrated experience with cloud computing design, security principles, and concepts such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS • Experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS) or MS Windows Server (2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016, Nano) environments and the ability to build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI) • Experience with cloud technologies, Amazon Web Services preferred, but other cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, OpenStack and others are relevant as well • Proficiency in application containerization (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesosphere), APIs, and web services • Experience with common DevOps Pipeline tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, and/or Git • Wide range of knowledge across IT disciplines including software, hardware, network engineering • Must have excellent people, communication and presentation skills interpersonal and professional communications • Experience working in a virtual organization
Desired skills • Technical experience with capturing requirements, system design, implementation and test • Experience with System engineering/Architecture/Administration in a large and distributed environment • Proven experience with Amazon Web Services (e.g. EC2, ECS, S3, microservices) • Demonstrated understanding and/or on-the-job platform services experience (e.g. .NET, Apache, AWS Beanstalk) • Recognized cloud certification (AWS CSA/Developer/DevOps Engineer, CompTIA Cloud+, CCSK or others) • Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies and/or understanding of Agile development concepts • AWS CLI Scripting • Demonstrated understanding and/or on-the-job experience with configuration management systems (e.g. Puppet, Chef, or Ansible) • Experience with Cloud Management Platforms (e.g. Xebialabs) • Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment • Experience developing and deploying apps in on-premise environments (e.g. VMware) as well as to the cloud (e.g. AWS) • Individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment • Experience in refactoring, rebuild, or redesign required during cloud migration activities • Technical domain expertise (e.g., SC/SCD, ODS, service requests including migrations, standard and custom service requests, CoLos, decoms and consulting) • BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree and prior relevant experience
