Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Associate in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania
The successful candidate will have an understanding of systems engineering principles as it relates to developing, coordinating, and conducting technical studies, evaluations of engineering design concepts, and detailed technical analyses using mathematical models for weapon systems, subsystems, assemblies, and components. The successful candidate will also be expected to establish effective communication between the Air Force Strategic Programs Team and our customers on a regular basis. Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical studies, evaluations of engineering design concepts, and detailed technical analyses using mathematical models in the field of survivability and reliability related to sustainment of current and development of future strategic weapons systems. Performing engineering assessments of systems or subsystems using methodologies and techniques appropriate to the systems engineering discipline, including radiation effects, risk management, requirements management, and reliability analysis. Provide support during the entire life cycle from the specification and analysis of requirements, through the design of the hardware, procurement, and integration and test phases. Identify and solve technical problems during all phases and develop technical reports and documentation.
Basic Qualifications A general knowledge of radiation effects (Nuclear Hardness and/or Survivability) as it relates to the design and assessment of electrical and/or mechanical components and systems.
Familiarity with Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) parts selection processes, qualification, and/or usage.
This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain secret clearance.
Desired skills Familiarity with requirements development activities including requirement creation, validation and verification utilizing various test and analytical techniques.
Experience with Model Based Engineering processes and tools, to include Rhapsody, Cameo System Modeler, SysML or similar.
Experience in Project Planning tools and methods.
Strong organizational and communication skills. Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.
Skills in evaluating circuit design and schematics. Skills in performing technical analyses of systems and components.
