Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer-IT Mgr in King Of Prussia, Pennsylvania
The qualified candidate will lead an AEHF Development Environment team across multiple contracts and opportunities, but primarily those that support the AEHF Capability Augmentation contract. The candidate will be responsible to carry out functional leadership, programmatic leadership and Cost Account Management (CAM) roles on the program.
As a leader, this includes (but not limited to) all E&T functional responsibilities such as LM Commit, Salary Planning and Discussions, Mentoring, Career Discussions, Staffing, Training, Talent Management and recognition/disciplinary actions. The leader's team will consist of approximately 10 employees. The candidate have a proven track record where they have exhibited strong Full Spectrum Leadership skills, a commitment to Diversity & Inclusion as well as being able to effectively balance their workload between both their functional, programmatic and CAM assignments showing strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills by effectively holding the team accountable to meet their schedule milestones.
Programmatic responsibilities will include (but not limited to) maintenance and sustainment of software development and COTS integration activities to support the AEHF Development Environment. The qualified candidate will also have working experience in programmatic planning and managing OS/COTS upgrades in the Development Environment. The qualified candidate will provide technical guidance to Product IPTs in the areas of architecture, design, implementation and product/system integration, including prototypes and/or trades in these areas. The candidate will be responsible to coordinate inter-dependent activities within development/sustainment environment with stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible to support: OS/COTS installs and configuration; Data Center Team DR reviews; assessment of miscellaneous COTS upgrade recommendations; support for environment anomalies; maintenance of OS/COTS installation documentation and other Data Center and Environment support activities as deem appropriate.
The qualified candidate will have experience in managing Development Environment Team labor cost control accounts to ensure cost and schedule variances are identified and addressed promptly, and that the earned value management is implemented. This includes managing the SSC business rhythm for head count, thread and opportunity, ETC and other reporting. Requires proven understanding of the mission and development environment needs of the AEHF Program and customers. Candidate must currently be in a direct billing position on the AEHF Program.
Basic Qualifications • Active DoD Secret Clearance • Experience in SW development methodology, lifecycle and process • OS/COTS Integration Experience • Discrepancy Reports (DR) Process Experience • General understanding of ClearQuest, ClearCase • Proven ability to manage large teams • Understanding and ability to apply Earned Value Methodology (EVM) • Ability to effectively prioritize workload of the team to meet program deliverables
