Lockheed Martin Engineering Planner in Lexington, Kentucky

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Engineering Planner for a position in Lexington, KY. Candidate will be integral to the team and responsible for:

Tracking/statusing SOP Engineering program financials for multiple programs. Supporting proposals by gathering actuals, drawing or page counts used as a basis for BOEs

Maintaining open lines of communication and demonstrating versatility to effectively work with various disciplines and management.

Will be accountable for the monthly workforce planning business rhythm. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in the program demand forecast via close interaction with engineering leads. The candidate will be required to analyze data and work with the Leads or CE to ensure program needs are being met.

Help generate and maintain individual engineering and project schedules

Help Maintain Risk & Opportunities in the program tracking software

Develop and present schedules, power point charts and requirements status in a multi-organizational environment, field questions as required

Candidate must be able to take technical meeting minutes

Basic Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills and the ability to effectively work with a dynamic environment

Must have intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office 2007 (or newer software) Microsoft Word, Power Point, Project, Excel and Outlook

Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Resourceful and takes initiative

Ability to multitask

Meticulous in accuracy

Desired skills Current experience with Microsoft software.

Good financial & technical background
