Our DC3 program provides a full range of technical, functional, and managerial support. DC3 is located in Linthicum, Maryland, with other office locations in Northern Virginia, and consists of a mix of Government, civilian and contractor support personnel.
Human Resources and Training Management Specialist for the Department of Defense Cyber Crime Center (DC3). Responsible for providing guidance to supervisors on hiring and planning job-related career development activities for civilian employees. Encourages and aids employees in undertaking self-development activities. Counsels employees and managers on program objectives and assists/advises on the preparation of necessary Individual Development Plans (IDPs), training plans and course schedules. Responsible for evaluating employee training programs to determine their effectiveness in relation to needs of supervisory and operating levels, overall training program objectives and further improvement in the employee development program. Coordinates training activities with top management and supervisory levels to promote establishment of training programs, to meet training needs of these levels; and with personnel specialists to locate and determine training requirements throughout DC3 The HR Specialist must maintain strong interpersonal relationships with employees at all levels of the organization and ensure leadership is aware of issues that require immediate attention.
Basic Qualifications • Possess strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workloads in a business environment • Strong written and oral communication skills • A demonstrated attention to detail, strong analytical and organization skills • Experience coordinating with other Governmental agencies, civilian educational institutions, and industrial firms to locate and utilize resources to meet identified training needs • Experience implementing and administering newly developed and/or established career training programs to employees and supervisors • Experience monitoring training plans; insuring necessary IDPs are prepared and adhered to and that all appropriate formal, self-study, and on-the-job training is scheduled and completed in a timely manner * Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance
