Lockheed Martin Sys Integratn/Test Eng Stf/C-13OJ Pilot-Tests Aircrew Training Devices in Little Rock AFB, Arkansas

This position reports directly to the C-130J MATS Deputy Program Manager and tests C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs). Performs/analyzes pre-certification checks and supports all government annual/bi-annual aircrew training device Certifications and maintenance training device Certifications. Supports all government aircrew and maintenance training device re-certifications. Performs testing/recheck on all device discrepancies. Coordinates and performs the QA testing of Design Request/Certification Discrepancies prior to Government TSSC Software Load acceptance. Responsible for verifying that the software load used for are under Configuration Management's control at all times. Maintains and tracks all generated Certification Discrepancies (CD). Point Of Contact for the engineers, Configuration Management and the Government customer for CD/DR resolution and rechecks by the Government.

This position flies on local training flights under the observation of an Air Force instructor pilot. Pilots shall meet ground training level four requirements under AFI 11-2C-130J. May accomplish takeoff, precision, non-precision, circling, and missed approaches, full-stop landings, touch-and-go landings, simulated emergencies, and other standard maneuvers (not including tactical mission maneuvers) required to compare simulator handling characteristics to that of the actual aircraft. Not required to maintain aircraft currency or qualification requirements but shall comply with the physiological training requirements of AFI 11-403, and shall possess a current FAA Class II physical.

Basic Qualifications -C-130J qualified pilot. -Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required. -Technical writing and knowledge of Microsoft Access and Project desired. -Must be capable of attaining a SECRET clearance.
