Lockheed Martin Electrical and Data Systems Engineer Mid Career Littleton, CO in Littleton, Colorado
Job duties include: 1. Systems engineering role on the Orion Spacecraft within the Electrical and Data Integration team 2. Applicant will program in Java to create model based system engineering system schematics using Tom Sawyer Perspectives 3. Maintain a European Service Module database extraction tool programmed in C# 4. At times required to work off hours shift to accommodate 24/7 testing at KSC in Florida. Shift are from 3am – 3pm and 3pm – 3 am, 3.5 days a week. 5. Work with the test team to identify problems and coordinate solution across the multi-site development team. 6. Perform data validation. Orion is a data driven spacecraft that can perform many functions like going to the Moon or Mars. The data in our files determines the mission. The selected individual will spend time making sure the data is correct and coordinating subsystems’ efforts to review their data. 7. The systems engineer will also be cross trained in electrical channelization resource management and telemetry definition, mapping, and downlink
Basic Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a computer science, engineering or scientific discipline 2. JAVA programming experience 3. Demonstrated ability to act independently and work collaboratively to uncover and resolve issues associated with a development program 4. Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills with both internal and external team members 5. Possess high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, strong work ethic and an ability to work well under pressure.
Desired skills 1. Experience with ATLO 2. Experience in flight operations 3. MBSE experience 4. Knowledge/experience with spacecraft subsystems and spacecraft operations
