Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineer Sr in Littleton, Colorado

This position is in support of a pending confidential program that is anticipated to be awarded Summer 2017.The candidate will be responsible for the design and development, analysis, test and troubleshooting of electrical power regulation boxes for aerospace applications. Candidate will also be responsible for supporting manufacturing, developing specifications and trade analyses, generating schematics, generate board and/or box test requirements, validate performance, and certify deliverable product. The person filling this position will support failure investigation processes, Material Review Board processing, discrepancy documentation and resolution, proposal and new business opportunities. This individual will work across the program to determine power needs and design a regulated and controlled subsystem that will meet both power bus and payload requirements. They will also perform related trade studies targeted at reducing cost while maintaining performance.

Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years experience with a related Masters degree. Minimum 5 years designing high reliability DC power systems. Excellent presentation, oral and written skills Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment. Demonstrated ability to act independently Demonstrated strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics Simulation Tool Experience Current or past development and Acceptance Test / Buy-off of Power Generation and Regulation Systems for Space, Aircraft, automotive or similar complex systems.

Desired skills EMI/EMC design and test Experience Familiarity with failure investigation processes (fishbone analyses, etc.) Technical experience in full life cycle development of hardware including design, integration, and test. Ability to produce and present informal / formal status briefings to Program Management and Customer. Experienced with working in geographically diverse teams and interfacing with industry partners/subcontractors.
