Lockheed Martin Electronics Engineer Staff in Littleton, Colorado
This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This position is for an experienced electrical engineer that will oversee, guide and execute the development and sustainment of a new missile avionics package.
This position will consist of architecture development and system requirements review and allocation to the various avionics sub-systems and/or units. The role will be responsible for leading the concept development for the avionics units to align with the requirements and support a System Requirements Review (SRR).
This position will be responsible for specification development for the avionics units including the guidance computer and other avionics units. This position will also be responsible for design analysis and requirements verification.
This position will be responsible for subcontract management including oversight and integration of all activities during the product life cycles of the various units.
This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.
Basic Qualifications - Experience in electrical design - Experience with circuit analysis - Experience with electronics processor requirements and usage - Experience with electrical system implementation or troubleshooting activities - Capable of updating/revising technical documentation using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired skills - Experience with US Strategic Systems - Experience with Missile Weapons Systems - Experience with Nuclear Certification requirements - Experience with Strategic Nuclear Hardness design requirements and implementation - Experience with system requirements flowdown to hardware implementation - Experience with missile / launch vehicle avionics architectures and hardware implementations - Experience with electrical circuit design, analysis and test - Experience with hardware development - Experience with subcontractor management - Experience working in an electronics lab environment - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project). - Demonstrated ability as a team player to build consensus among peers and build effective relationships with team members. - Effectively manage change
