Lockheed Martin Environmental Safety and Health Management Information Systems Lead in Littleton, Colorado

This Lockheed Martin (LM) Enterprise Business Services (EBS) position reports to the corporate Energy, Environment, Safety and Health (EESH) Common Systems team.

The staff ESH engineer will analyze ESH process requirements and support development and implementation of various ESH common management information systems and related documentation and reports for Lockheed Martin.

The position interfaces directly with corporate EESH staff members, other corporate functional staff including IT, Finance and Global Supply Chain, and ESH and IT representatives from the business areas.

Specific job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Coordinate development of common processes and supporting tools across ESH function to achieve affordability, efficiency and compliance objectives - Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather process and system requirements - Lead and/or support the Common Systems Working Group - Manage customer requests including custom reports generation and systems troubleshooting/ problem solving activities - Participate in systems testing and support user acceptance testing - Facilitate systems user documentation development, communications and training - Manage systems improvement projects with appropriate consideration for process and systems integration and basic architecture requirements - Actively support the Common Systems User Forum - Coordinate and/or participate in SIA events to achieve ESH continuous process and systems improvement

Additional responsibilities will be assigned based on organization needs.

SELECTED CANDIDATE MUST BE CO-LOCATED AT A MAJOR U.S. LM SITE WITH A PREFERENCE FOR SIGNIFICANT EESH PRESENCE (e.g., Curie Court - Rockville, MD, Waterton, CO, Fort Worth, TX, Orlando, FL, Valley Forge, PA, Sunnyvale, CA, Stratford, CT).

Basic Qualifications - ESH and/or ESH information systems related technical education and training - Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) - Minimum of 5 - 7 years of work experience in the ESH and/or ESH related information systems domain - Advanced level of proficiency with computer-based tools and applications including Microsoft Office tools - Understanding of ESH management system, related process requirements, and supporting tools at corporate and business area levels - Program/ project management skills, including experience building successful relationships within a team either as team leader or participant to achieve goals and execute deliverables - Ability to plan and execute data analysis in support of tactical and strategic decision making - Ability to communicate with, support and collaborate with peers and leadership across the corporation - Ability to design efficient, effective processes and systems with appropriate consideration of corporate and business area requirements - Demonstrated strategic and analytical thinking skills

Desired skills - Experience supporting both environmental and safety and health programs for US and non US operations - Program/ project management experience including effective planning to address complex issues and oversight of budget and schedule elements - Experience supporting development of ESH Management Information Systems and/or related custom reports - Experience helping users resolve usage issues with ESH IT tools - Cross-business area and/or cross-functional teams experience - LM21 green or black belt or other continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge to develop creative process and systems improvements - Experience managing supplier agreements and working with external vendors
