Lockheed Martin Multi-Function Manufacturing Supervisor in Littleton, Colorado

Provide Supervision for RF assembly facility. Primarily responsible for supervising a team of manufacturing assemblers who will be performing the fabrication of flight circuit card assemblies, RF modules/slices, and RF assemblies. In addition to supervision, a high degree of technical understanding and oversight is required

Provides direction to fabricators to ensure there is a clear understanding of the daily priorities. Accomplishes tasks mainly through direct supervision of hourly employees.

Ensures that fabrication is completed on schedule following established procedures, schedules, and work plans.

Responsible for coordinating work assignments, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Routinely interfaces with manufacturing engineering and program personnel to obtain support required to complete manufacturing activities

Proactively focus on talent development to include facilitation of knowledge sharing, enhancement of skills and facilitate career advancement opportunities. Identify knowledge areas, critical talent segments and collaborate in ongoing activities to support knowledge transfer/knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications Strong background in manufacturing and ability to quickly learn RF assembly processes including but not limited to: Surface Mount Technology, polymerics, bonding, soldering, ribbon bonding, and parallel gap welding.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Demonstrated consistent high performance with the ability to accept responsibility, and be held accountable for assigned tasks.

Must exemplify Full Spectrum Leadership capabilities to motivate employees to perform productively in a team environment.

Desired skills Experience with manufacturing flow centers and LEAN manufacturing flow optimization. Familiarity with Windchill, Enterprise Resource Management (ERM), SAP & Part, Materials,& Processes (PMP) preferred. Experience or understanding of the manufacturing flow of RF slices/modules and assemblies. Experience in Producibility, Design for Manufacturing (DFM) with applications in RF manufacturing. Experience working in a union environment Strong understanding of SAP, EPDM, VE-CAMs and Microsoft Office.
