Lockheed Martin Procurement Data Analyst in Littleton, Colorado

The Central Procurement (CP) Procurement Data Analyst (PDA) supports the Director of Procurement and the Supply Chain Senior Leadership Team by executing the following work scope:

• Utilize business knowledge & acumen to gather, analyze, and organize historical, current, and future data in order to support informed strategic planning and proactive decisions. • Create persuasive business cases and strategic plans based on the analyzed data and communicate them via concise executive briefing packages. • Develop tools to improve efficiencies across the organization and drive process improvement. • Coordinates requests for information and distills inputs into the most salient points for use at the executive level.

The PDA should possess a unique blend of skills in order to excel in an executive environment. Specifically, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical / statistical thinking and business acumen skills, exhibit exceptional organizational skill, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as appropriate, and produce superior work products under short deadlines. Other duties and special projects may be assigned as they arise. The PDA needs to be willing and able to travel as needed. This role will be exposed to sensitive organizational information and must have a keen awareness that most information will be confidential and remain confidential.

Basic Qualifications - High level of proficiency with Excel statistical & data analysis tools (Experience creating macros is a plus)

  • Ability to translate data into meaningful graphic representations for presentations

  • Experience with database creation / manipulation (Access required)

  • Be highly organized & employ strong time management skills

  • Proactive / strategic thinking
