Lockheed Martin Program Planner Senior in Littleton, Colorado
Lockheed Martin is looking for a mid-level program planner to support the GPSIII satellite program. Major communications networks, banking systems, financial markets, and power grids depend on GPS and the technology is embedded in virtually every component of U.S. military operations. Our new team member will be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, leads by example, and has the desire and ability to influence and foster collaboration and teamwork to generate impactful results. This person will be part of a team which plans and manages detailed schedule networks from design, assembly, test, and into operations.
The selected candidate will interface with engineering, finance and business operations, and program management while collaborating with the entire planning team to translate authorized customer requirements into the performance measurement baseline. This person will develop and maintain compliant Integrated Master Schedules which accurately and comprehensively validate contractual scope, work flow, and resources required to execute the program.
The program planners work with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication between stakeholders to drive progress and performance, and evaluate changes and status. The team assists in negotiating handoffs between product areas regarding technical content and schedules as well as facilitating workaround planning as required. The team serves as a liaison by maintaining, publishing, and presenting relevant planning and scheduling information and metrics to provide visibility and communicate potential issues to management and engineering.
Basic Qualifications Demonstrated ability to compile, prepare, and present information to management and customers.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality.
Industry planning experience and planning tool experience (ie, Primavera, MS Project).
Experience with industry compliance requirements and surveillance.
