Lockheed Martin Proposal Analyst in Littleton, Colorado
As part of the Commercial Civil Space line of business you will be supporting NASA man space & planetary missions and commercial satellite programs leading the proposal development processes. In this role you will be reporting directly to the senior manager of estimating and serving as a team lead for the LOB estimating function. Responsibilities include actively participating in the technical discussions, leading the development of plans and schedules to meet RFP delivery requirements and coordination with ICE. After leading the costing kickoff you will compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of the cost proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications. After completion of BOEs you will be responsible for leading the team that ensures development of requested cost models and cost volume requirements to support proposal efforts, aligning with RFP guidance and internal command media. When the proposal has been submitted you will continue to support with contracts and participate in fact-finding meetings and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives
Basic Qualifications -Strong analytical skills and ability to read and understand requirements set forth within Request for Proposals (RFP's). -Strong working knowledge of ProPricer and genBOE -Strong business acumen and ability to present complex cost positions to management during EPP's and other high level meetings. -Experience developing a cost position then presenting to management. -Ability to work independently on efforts with little over site from management. -Understand how FAR and command media shape our response to a Request for Proposal. -Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with roughly 10 years of professional experience; or roughly 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority
Desired skills -Experience in estimating, working understanding of LMSSC Accounting System, and understanding of how our product is used by other business functions such as cost management, accounting, Independent Cost Evaluation (ICE) and parametric estimating. -Knowledge of FAR and SSC command media. Space Systems signature authority is a plus. -Experience with parametric estimating techniques is desired. -Experience presenting complex estimating information and cost positions to management -Excellent tracking and reporting capabilities -Ability to lead a dynamic team and communicate challenging information to management.
