Lockheed Martin RF Engineering Manager for Spacecraft in Littleton, Colorado

_Littleton, Colorado_: Provides leadership of Radio Frequency (RF) products and associated technical team on the Global Positioning Systems (GPS) III program. Manages the design, development, integration into next higher assembly and test of RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, and antennas. Leads the staff responsible for component design and evaluation, build, and test. Exhibits strong project management skills and works closely with RF and Antenna manufacturing organizations. Able to understand and resolve conflicting priorities between GPS III program and Enterprise needs.

Understands the development and allocation of RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.

Coordinates link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees the identification and tracking of RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Monitors RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and analyses. Provides leadership during failure investigations. Position responsibilities include development of proposal concepts and estimation, staffing, design execution and integrity, design verification, production support and program execution for space vehicle payload technology developments and products incorporating RF disciplines. Consistently engaged in ROM (Risk and Opportunity Management) while providing team oversight to confirm compliance with program requirements for hardware design and analysis criteria, parts application and screening, test, product assurance, manufacturing process, survivability and environments. Report current status to functional management on a regular continuing basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required for customer and program team interfaces, as well as coordination of resource requirements with multiple Major Functional Organizations. Additional duties include establishing individual performance commitments, providing written feedback contributions to performance appraisals, and providing accomplishment recognition for all deployed employees annually. Also conduct interviews and determine hiring decisions, determine training requirements, and assure personal and workforce compliance with all Lockheed Martin policies.

Basic Qualifications 1. Minimum BS degree in Engineering 2.
