Lockheed Martin Security Representative (early career with Secret Clearance) in Littleton, Colorado

Function as the Program Security Rep providing multi-disciplined security support for various programs in Denver, Colorado. The candidate will be required to interpret and implement the NISPOM and ICD manuals and directives. The candidate is responsible for keeping up to date on all changes to security policy and directives issued by cognizant Government Security organizations. The candidate must be able to partner with internal and external customers and teammates. Candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to demonstrate sound judgment, a strong attention to detail, make effective decisions and deliver on time results. They will develop and execute security programs associated with the protection of classified and other sensitive information in compliance with government and corporate policies. The selected candidate may be responsible for multiple facets of security operations such as physical security, visitor control, document control, classification management, personnel security, security investigations, developing and delivering security briefings, self-inspections, risk identification and mitigation and other tasks as required.

Final Secret Clearance Required to start.

Basic Qualifications Knowledge of the NISPOM and the ability to effectively provide security support to multiple programs Ability to prepare Security related briefings and articulate security requirements in a clear and positive manner Candidate must have strong written, verbal, interpersonal, organizational and analytical communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technically competent with computer/database usage

Desired skills Final TS or TS/SCI. Working knowledge of JPAS, SIMS, and LM Corporate Security Tools. Ability to read and interpret security policy. Previous experience as Program Security Rep and/or an FSO/Alternate FSO. Familiar with requirements for SCI programs. Familiar with COMSEC equipment and requirements. Experience working BOEs or supporting programs as a CAM. Bachelors Degree
