Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Senior Manager in Littleton, Colorado

This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Sr. Mgr. position supports the overall Weapons System Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by leading the overall WSEIT effort in Denver. The selected candidate will be responsible for all WSEIT integration across all segments/IPTS - AVE, Launch, and Weapons Systems Command and Control (WSC2). This includes oversight and development of the standard TMRR Program deliverables, and the development of program architecture, requirements development, allocation, verification planning, prototype planning, Systems Engineering Reviews preparation and execution (e.g., SRR, SFR, 9QTIMM, PDR). and the development and execution of critical life cycle cost and technical trade studies. Central to this development effort will be the MBSE processes which are a focal point for the program and customer. Responsibilities also includes: Nuclear Surety, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, System Test, System Analysis and Modeling, Specialty Engineering as well as the development of the requirements and Interface Control documents database, Design Review Agendas and Design Review Meeting Minutes and Action Plans. This position includes L-Code Full Spectrum leadership responsibilities. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.

Basic Qualifications - Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering execution on development programs - Broad experience of Systems Engineering life Cycle process and tools. - Leadership experience of a technical and diverse team - Excellent Communication Skills, both verbal and written with the proven ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner to varying levels of employees, management and customers - Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment - Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education with commensurate years of professional experience.
