Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Staff in Littleton, Colorado

This position Is located in Denver and supports the Air Force Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) Technical Maturation and Risk Reduction (TMRR) Program. This System Engineer Staff position supports the overall Weapons Systems Engineering Integration and Test (WSEIT) Team by supporting the Systems Engineering Mgr. The selected candidate will serve as the SE Risk and opportunity lead. The successful candidate will work with IPT/Segment leads, and subcontractors to identify risks and opportunities, coordinate with the Air Force to assess risks and opportunities and implement appropriate risk and opportunity handling strategies. Also included is the conduct of monthly Risk and Opportunity Management Boards, attendance at the Quarterly Tech Council Risk and Opportunity Reviews, and the application of Risk and opportunity training as necessary. this position will also support ad-hoc tasking as directed by the WSEIT mgr. The candidate must function well in a creative, high-tempo, collaborative, cross-functional, dynamic and multi-disciplinary environment. This position will start in September of 2017, and is contingent upon the GBSD TMRR award in September of 2017.

Basic Qualifications - Knowledge of and experience with Risk and Opportunity Management - Experience with LM Risk and opportunity management tools and processes - Experience with Systems Engineering life Cycle process - Comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic multi-disciplinary environment - Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills - Proficiency with standard documentation and presentation tools .
