Provides Production Test support for Radar and/or Sonar programs. May also provide test support to other product lines based upon business need. Provides test guidance in addition to timely problem resolution through root cause and corrective action techniques. Creates test procedures based on requirements, participates in engineering technical reviews, develops methods for transitioning from development to production, identifies opportunities for improvement, and interfaces with Tech Ops/Design Engineering organization. Develops test fixturing and tooling to improve workflow and reduce injuries. Actively participates in initiatives to improve efficiency.

Basic Qualifications Fluency in RF, digital, analog, and/or logic systems, as well as standard point-point wire check. Ability to read and interpret interface control documents and schematics, related specifically to electrical/mechanical systems. Capable of generating manufacturing test-ready documentation for use on production floor. Change management experience, including initiating documentation changes and interpreting change management as it applies to work in process. Solid trouble-shooting skills. Experience with transitioning development programs into production. Well-established project management skills with a proven ability to drive projects to closure.

Ability to lead or influence functional and multi-functional teams to develop and meet goals and objectives consistent with the product line. Demonstrated capability to multi-task; support of multiple program and organization initiatives in parallel.

PowerPoint and Excel skills consistent with presenting information, status, and planning to management. Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written, are a must. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance. This requires US citizenship.

Desired skills Familiarity with electrical, fiber optic, RF test equipment and protocols. Solid trouble-shooting methodology to reduce downtime. Previous experience with cable, wire, and harness testing. Fluency in LabView and MatLab. DITMCO or other automated wire testing. Special Test Equipment experience.

Lean/Six Sigma blackbelt or equivalent training. Ability to create and work to detailed, task-oriented schedules. Working knowledge of SAP.
