Lockheed Martin Electrical Engineer Asc in Marion, Massachusetts
Lockheed Martin Corporation's Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is in search of a talented entry level electrical engineer to join our team in Marion, MA. The candidate will be a technical individual contributor for the Communications Group, working programs and supporting customer questions that arise routinely. The following skills are required:
- Experience in software coding
- Familiar with analog and digital circuitry design
- Able to manage own workload consisting of several tasks at once
- Familiar with microcontrollers
- Ability to read assembly drawings and parts list to compare to actual built hardware and ability in identifying issues with drawings
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies and isolate issues down to component level using standard test equipment
- Experience using Microsoft office to generate reports, presentations, work instructions and technical documentation.
- Ability to prepare charts and give presentations on technical issues
This position requires the person to work on a wide variety of tasks within an experienced Team. Typical duties include performing component research, documentation development, troubleshooting electronic devices, collaborating routinely with other engineering and supporting disciples.
Excellent multitasking skills are a must, as typically engineers juggle several tasks/programs/products simultaneously. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong ability to successfully work with customers, program management, engineering project managers, and within the multidisciplinary engineering and manufacturing teams.
Some overtime and travel may be required. In addition to engineering work, the candidate may be involved with other strategic activities including field demonstrations and testing as well as customer and internal management presentations.
The candidate should be energetic, able to work independently, yet thrive in a team environment and have sound theoretical and practical engineering experience.
Basic Qualifications BSEE degree, strong ability to multitask, ability to obtain secret security clearance, technical troubleshooting skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work well in a team environment.
