This position supports a high volume global supply chain team within the Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) Business Area. The successful candidate will be a valued member of our mechanical buying team. You will manage low to medium complexity mechanical material purchase orders for RMS. Responsible for the full supply chain life cycle, including proposal support, quotation and order placement, managing supplier deliveries and quality performance, and managing close out of the procurement transaction in accordance with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures. Work closely with the Program office, Operations, Planning, Finance, Tech Ops, and site sourcing leads / LOBs to ensure programs requirements are satisfied. Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Basic Qualifications Frequent use and general knowledge of mechanical industry practices, techniques, and standards. General application of standard concepts and principles. The ability to understand and interpret low to medium hardware drawings. Functional knowledge of MS products and Excel. Excellent interpersonal skills enabling the candidate to operate in a high stress, high volume environment. Working knowledge of SAP

Desired skills The successful candidate must also have the ability to multitask, work independently and operate in a high volume environment with proven ability of strong written and oral skills to communicate within the organization. Experience with LMP2p / SAP. Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures. Experience in negotiating supplier terms and conditions.
