Manages/support Material Value Acceleration and RAA saving validation and project cost process/ committee/teams overseeing schedule, cost and projects coordination of major negotiations for subcontractors or commodities which are focuses of the Accelerating Affordability Transformation Initiative (AAT) for Value Acceleration project. Responsible for coordinating project schedule, project actions, project risk/opportunity collection, AAT work assignments, and supporting team in achieving Project saving objectives as part of the VA project. Acts as the main focal point for the AAT project leadership teams to reach our affordability saving plan; prepare briefs for senior or executive management on the status and issues affecting affordability cost objectives of the VA AAT project.

Conducts project reviews with the project leads or teams. Responsible for supporting saving validation process which may include such items as: initiation of the business case coordination, business case coordination for make/buy decisions for possible insourcing which supports our saving targets, proposals with suppliers on project tasks outsourced, supporting team in using LM supplier leverage by working with other business areas for collaboration, AAT negotiation status tracking, and tracking closure of SLT/ELT or customer action item requests. Monitors milestone objectives and manages project tasks to committed saving objectives and aligns/supports the LM VA Material in achieving the stated supply chain affordability saving goals as part of VA Material saving initiative.

As a project management member, your responsibilities include the following: - Interaction with RMS Controller office to maximize retained direct and Indirect saving to reduce cost and ensure improvement to business plan - Sets calendar and cadence for meetings with members and teams - Oversees development of reference materials / debriefs for LM & RMS finance - Ensures teams have the tools & resources needed to execute on leverage - Connects team to key supply chain stakeholders as needed – to execute retained saving potential to assist RMS for EBIT expansion, etc. - Offer suggestions to maintain project schedule tasks performance - Coordinates support for teams which aides in achieving affordability targets - Engages process subject matter experts for saving validation and maximize retained value - Providing IMO RAA project schedule and maintenance to support IMO cadence of Material VA/RAA tasks and updates

This key AAT project management office role is accountable to achieving the enterprise affordability saving targets established through successful execution of project plan/events and is a key player in assuring the successful execution of saving objectives.

You may also be assigned other activities in support of business priorities and objectives. Travel may be required on short notice.

Be open to new ideas to achieve greater returns for the enterprise - Analytically Biased: Leverage the data, tools and analysis to prove/disprove key hypotheses for affordability

Desired skills - Master degree in Business and/or engineering - proven ability to effect change and lead a diverse cultural evolution in achieving affordability objectives - LDP graduate - proven negotiation skills/experience - knowledge or experience working across business area activity
