Will edit, and review Quality plans/procedures and support their implementation/utilization for Quality Assurance across all programs. Provide support for external assessments, to include CMMI, AS9100. Conduct audits and assessments across multiple programs (including major subcontractor). Conduct independent oversight and assessments of software projects and tasks critical to the program within a team environment. Refine/Analyze quality assurance performance metrics. Will work with the project managers, team leads, systems engineers, functional managers, and staff members to drive the successful implementation of projects, tasks and technical deliverables. Responsible for supporting the development, integration and qualification testing of software components, as well as maintain and execute a QA audit schedule. Conduct/analyze internal software quality audits, conduct/analyze software product evaluations, participate on Integrated Product Development Teams and provide quality assessment on software development process on a continuous basis. Review and submit process audit reports and track process corrective action requests. Support program senior corrective action board meetings as required. Responsible for conducting/analyzing QA witness support for formal qualification tests. Ensure that the software quality records database, and supporting documentation are prepared and maintained in accordance documented requirements.
Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
At least one year experience and/or education degree involving production of computer software, code writing, and software development.
Working knowledge of UNIX required. Adept in dealing with difficult and dynamic challenges associated with a large program. Strong decision making and leadership capabilities. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and an Agile development environment. Familiarity with associated software tools is a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired skills Greenbelt training/Certification. Experience with DCMA customer. Preferably experience in leading small teams and/or projects.
