Candidate should be adept in dealing with difficult and dynamic challenges associated with a large program. The preferred candidate will have strong decision making and leadership capabilities. The position will require the candidate to: • Review plans and procedures and assist with the implementation/utilization of Quality Assurance across the program. • Provide leadership for external assessments, to include CMMI, AS9100. • Perform audits across the multiple programs (including major subcontractor). • Perform independent oversight of software projects and tasks critical to the program within a team environment. • Performing quality assurance analysis of performance metrics. The position will require the individual to work with the project managers, team leads, systems engineers, functional managers, and staff members to drive the successful implementation of projects, tasks and technical deliverables. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidate will be responsible for supporting the development, integration and qualification testing of software components, as well as develop, maintain and execute a QA audit schedule. Candidate will conduct internal software quality audits, perform software product evaluations, participate on Integrated Product Development Teams and provide quality assessment on software development process on a continuous basis. Candidate will ensure that the software quality records database, and supporting documentation are prepared and maintained in accordance documented requirements. Candidate will review and submit process audit reports and track process corrective action requests and support program senior corrective action board meetings as required. Candidate will be responsible for scheduling QA witness support for formal qualification tests.

Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

At least one year experience and/or education degree involving production of computer software, code writing, and software development.

Working knowledge of UNIX required.

Basic understanding of software development lifecycles and an Agile development environment. Familiarity with associated software tools is a plus.
