Lockheed Martin Calibration Technician in Ocala, Florida

Calibrate electronic test measuring equipment, conduct adjustment and maintain electromechanical, pressure-type measuring and indicating instruments. Certify Electrostatic Discharge equipment and hand tools. This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications Calibrate inspection, measurement and test equipment (IM & TE) in order to ensure compliance. Identify IM & TE out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement and correction factors. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Can read blueprints and schematics Ability to recognize problems through troubleshooting and determine a solution Ability to determine tools and equipment needed to complete a job Proficient knowledge of computers, database entry, and Microsoft Office products.

Desired skills Associates Degree in a technical discipline preferred Knowledge in use of measuring and test equipment Ability to follow detailed instructions in the performance of duties of the calibration of electronics, test equipment, torque devices and mechanical equipment.
