Lockheed Martin Items Analyst / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Items Analyst for a position in Orlando, FL to analyze Apache Fire Control (AFC) technical data to determine spares and repair parts provisioning requirements and associated costs. Duties include:

Assist in maintaining a replenishment parts model to include historical parts consumption, parts obsolescence, lead-times, costs, minimum buy requirements, and predicted future repair part, spares, and support equipment spares requirements.

In conjunction with other program personnel, establish schedules and monitors the cost and delivery of spares, support equipment spares, and repair parts requirements in order to comply with contractual obligations.

Through weekly monitoring, the individual will ensure the availability of spares, support equipment spares, and repair parts.

Travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University (preferably focused in Engineering, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Mathematics, etc.) • Familiarity with statistical analysis and current modeling tools and techniques • Ability to review / interpret data and derive trends • Excellent communication skills and Customer Service orientation • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word) • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance • Ability to interface with a variety of information technology applications to create purchase requirements and to extract data • Ability to prepare and accomplish presentations

Desired skills • Understanding of financial and mathematical concepts • A Mathematical and/or Computer Science educational/ training regimen. • Familiarity with statistical analysis and current modeling tools and techniques. • Ability to read reports and interpret data • A high degree of Information Technology skills to allow development of minor software routines to perform data compilation for trends analysis, graphical presentations, and reports generation are preferred. • Ability to work in a cross-functional IPT environment • Experience using MS Excel and SAP client applications • Experience interacting with management and customers • Supply Support / Stock Control experience
