Specify, design and write new calibration, test and other maintenance procedures. Analyze, design, test and deploy automated/semi-automated procedures using multiple platforms to manipulate, store and report calibration data. Mathematically prove and document local and/or commercial calibration software. Develop uncertainty budgets through analyzing, interpreting and utilization of laboratory and/or higher level calibration laboratory data. Develop, track and perform trend analysis for laboratory calibration data. Perform electrical/physical dimensional metrology measurements for the purpose of engineering analysis. Troubleshoot and resolve calibration system problems, develop metrology measurement techniques and provide training/technical assistance to other laboratory personnel. Maintain laboratory accreditation as required.
Basic Qualifications - Significant calibration experience within the RF/Microwave, DC/Low Frequency and Primary Standards disciplines. - Ability to write, program and develop calibration procedures using multiple platforms including Fluke Met/Cal and MS Office products, - Ability to calculate, develop and manipulate uncertainty budgets. - Ability to perform and develop metrology measurement techniques. - Ability to provide technical assistance to other personnel. - Strong command in all areas of the calibration laboratory including relevant mathematical skills. - Strong management and communication skills. - Able to travel domestically as required.
Desired skills - LabWindows and .NET programming experience. - Fluke Met/Cal experience. - Fluke Met/Team experience. - Experience working within an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory. - Formal military PMEL training. - Demonstrated team leadership experience. - Ability to energize a team.
