The selected candidate will support the ALIS Senior Program Manager in Development. The selected individual will have the total cost, schedule, and technical responsibility to deliver all capabilities and requirements allocated to the next major release of the ALIS system following ALIS 4.0, an initial development estimated to be $30M with longer term growth within the ALIS IPT expected for this position. The successful candidate will lead a team growing up to 100 cross-disciplined professionals, and will be ultimately accountable for program planning, requirements development, system design, integration, and certification activities. The selected individual will assist the Program Management Office in communication and coordination with the F-35 Program Leadership, supporting visitor briefings and customer engagements. The successful candidate will be accountable for a full set of program management responsibilities, including but not limited to the following key activities:

  • Provide day-to-day ALIS Implementation planning organization, and requirements definition for the next major release of ALIS ,
  • Prepare for and participate in Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly program reviews,
  • Provide sound EVM support, as well as support the ALIS Development business rhythm for staffing and risk management
  • Review Proposals prior to submission to government for accuracy and completeness,
  • Maintain and monitor program metrics identifying operational deficiencies, establishing root causes and recommendations for corrective actions,
  • Identify areas of process improvements for program policies and procedures

This position will have a direct relationship with the customer, and will frequently engage with various program stakeholders across the F-35 enterprise. Basic Qualifications Demonstrated excellent Program Management fundamentals including cost, schedule, resource, and risk management Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Expertise in relationship building and strong communication with customers and employees at all levels Demonstrated experience in managing hardware-software integration and/or complex development efforts Outstanding knowledge of Systems Engineering process and activities. Proficiency with managing a complex Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Proficiency with Earned Value Management (EVM) baseline management, and USG SETR reviews Experience executing programs >$5M Experience with proposal development and/or new business capture

Must have the ability to obtain an active DoD Secret level (or higher) security clearance

Desired skills * Previous PM/DPM experience * LM-certified Level 1 PM * Familiarity with Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) F35 Systems hardware and software and the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) and/or Performance Based Logistics. * Experience with LM tools (IWAD, Winsight, ECE, etc.) and knowledge of RMS Command Media to include supporting internal and external EVMS and other program audits
