Lockheed Martin Reliability Engineer Associate / FRACAS / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida
Reliability Engineer to support EOTS Program area. This job entails performing Failure Reporting and Corrective Active Action System (FRACAS) activities on the F-35 EOTS to identify trends, root cause and corrective actions to improve production yield / throughput and field reliability. This job is a high visible visibility position and requires strong presentation skills to present to senior management in a concise and direct manner. This candidate will interact with engineers, suppliers, quality, production operations, program managers and customer.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Identify FRACAS trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions.
Prepare, analyze, document and present Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) reports.
Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
Proactively identify Reliability concerns, suggest innovative solutions, and follow through to resolution.
Compiles and analyzes performance reports and process control statistics.
Perform reliability / maintainability predictions for mechanical and electrical designs.
May perform Failure Mode and Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECAs).
May perform testability / built in test (BIT) assessment.
Participate in Corrective Action Boards (CABs) and Failure Review Boards (FRBs).
Support of design reviews and test activities.
May review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), support Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB).
Conduct of reliability growth analysis.
May support Performance Based Logistics (PBL) activities.
Basic Qualifications -Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college in a related discipline -Ability to obtain Secret Clearance -Good written and oral Communication Skills -Strong Computer Skills including MS Office and a high level of proficiency with Excel
Desired skills -Understanding of Electrical, Software, and Mechanical Engineering -FMECA experience at both functional and component level -Testability experience -Hardware Troubleshooting -FRACAS experience -Maintainability experience -Reliability experience -Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little direction -Candidate should have strong computer skills -Candidate should have the ability to learn and work with Reliability Software Tools -Strong written and oral communication skills -Ability to make formal presentations to large groups and be able to interact well in a team atmosphere with engineers, subcontractors, program managers and customers during the investigation, documentation and resolution of system failures -Effective analytical problem solving skills -Ability to perform detail-oriented work with a high degree of accuracy
