Lockheed Martin Reliability Engineer / FRACAS / FMECA / WINDCHILL / Relex / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

This position is contingent upon a future contract award (expected in Q4 of 2017) supporting a Missiles & Fire Control program within the Engineering & Technology function, as well as Customer funding for this position.

Perform Reliability modeling, Stress Analysis Predictions and physics of failure analyses. Participate in FRB activities and maintain the FRACAS database. Develop, coordinate and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts to include Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) per MIL-STD-1629. Develop test plans, conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and perform Reliability testing.

Basic Qualifications •Must be a US Citizen with an Active Department of Defense Secret clearance with an Investigation in the past 5 years. •Technical engineering background. •Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations. •an analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation. •Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft suite of applications. •People skills: assertive, people orientated, motivated, ability to multi-task, self-starter. •Able to work with all types of disciplines - management, production, engineering. •Understanding of reliability, modeling concepts and reliability tools (e.g. Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS)/RELEX).

Desired skills •Bachelor of Science in an Engineering Field (BSEE, BSCE, BSET) •Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding. •Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting. •System and subsystem test experience to include Test Plan development, completing HALT and accelerated aging testing. •Experience using WQS/RELEX. •Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software.
