Lockheed Martin Reliability Engineer / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida
Candidate provides general Logistics Sustainment and Engineering support to Specialty Engineering branches in the execution of logistics, reliability, maintainability, testability, and system safety activities for Infrared Search and Track (IRST) programs. Responsible for reliability tasks including FRACAS, failure review boards/corrective actions, development tasks such as predictions, FMECAs, BIT development and effectively analysis. Provide status on activities as part of monthly Program reviews and Supplier CABs. Supports system safety personnel in execution of tasks such as system and S/W safety planning hazard analyses, including functional hazard, sub and system hazard analyses. Also provides support in interim hazard classification management, and all package, handling, storage and transportation activities. Presents development status at planned reviews.
Basic Qualifications Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance. Reliability engineering experience with a general understanding of analyses, modeling concepts and tools. Good written and oral communication skills. Experience presenting findings to customers and management. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office. Strong problem solving skills.
Desired skills BSEE, BSEET, BSCE (or similar discipline). Candidate should be a self-starter capable of performing assigned tasks with little direction. FRACAS experience preferred. Knowledge of Windchill Quality Solutions (WQS), formerly known as Relex, is a plus. Maintainability and Testability / Built-In-Test (BIT) engineering experience. Active Secret security clearance.
