Lockheed Martin Senior Logistics Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Assist in development of maintenance engineering and integrated logistics strategies. Assist in development of Support Equipment recommendations to provide capability to maintain operational status and repair capabilities. Collect and provide support data for each level of repairable maintenance to include documentation and supporting drawings. Perform maintenance analysis to identify, justify, and report the requirements for maintenance and all related logistics resources. Support in establishing necessary interfaces and controls to ensure that equipment changes, which in any way affect previously furnished logistic support data, result in the update of data items. Interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings, NOR’s, schematics. Assist in reviewing field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares and support equipment provisioning requirements. Analyzes customer's initial design specifications and recommends basic product specifications and techniques to satisfy customer requirements. Reviews engineering specifications and drawings during development and proposes design refinements to improve ratio of operational time to maintenance time, and maintainability.

Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, ideally engineering focused (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Aerospace, etc.) US Citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance Experience with data analytics and supporting tools such as MS Excel. Knowledgeable in logistics management and analysis. Possess good written and oral communication skills.

Desired skills Experience with military Logistics Engineering and Product Support. Familiarity with Air Force Initial Provisioning Performance Specification (IPPS) and GEIA-HB-0007B Possess knowledge of department of defense logistics, military product life cycle, and support concepts. Candidate should be an analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving problems of moderate complexity. Possess strong computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office software. Secret Clearance (Current 5 Yr. Background Check)
