Lockheed Martin Senior Reliability Engineer / FMECA / Windchill / Relex / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

This position is contingent upon a future contract award (expected in Q3 of 2017) supporting a Missiles & Fire Control program within the Engineering & Technology function, as well as Customer funding for this position.

This is a Senior Reliability Engineer position supporting the Modular Active Protection System (MAPS) program by: Providing updates of Reliability predictions using Windchill Quality Solution tool; Performing Maintainability Predictions; Generating Reliability Block Diagram (RBD); Performing Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA); Developing, coordinating and conducting technical reliability and maintainability trade studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts; Supporting HW & SW integration & testing.

Basic Qualifications Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance. Experience with the FMECA process including a general understanding of circuit design and schematics. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience developing and delivering presentations. An analytical thinker with a demonstrated ability of solving complex problems which require ingenuity and innovation. Proficient computer skills including the Microsoft suite of applications. People skills: assertive, people orientated, motivated, able to multi-task, self-starter. Understanding of reliability, modeling concepts and reliability tools.

Desired skills Strong electrical background with a good mechanical understanding. Practical hands on experience with hardware test and troubleshooting. Experience with statistical analysis, statistical process control and/or statistical software. Active Secret clearance.
