Lockheed Martin Sniper Integration and Test Lead Engineer / Orlando, Florida in Orlando, Florida

This role is the Lead Integration and Test Engineer on the Sniper Program, with individuals assisting to support Domestic, International, IRAD, and New Business pursuits.

This is a significant responsibility with over a dozen active programs, starting with co-leadership and moving to larger scope leadership over 25 international countries and 13 platforms. This role involves clear communication, ability to perform triage with incomplete information to keep programs moving simultaneously. This role needs an active leader who can plan for risk mitigation, organize options and combinations of HW, direct teams and individuals to effective parallel actions, and work beneficially with essential knowledge experts who may not have those skills.

Specific work includes:

-Planning and preparing test and integration team and assets to be successful long before test needs.

-Reacting effectively to emerging issues with asset failures and re-structuring assets to help as many as possible.

-Managing the Lab Custodian and the betterment of Capital assets and facilities.

-Coordinating Capital equipment orders, repairs, troubleshooting, expense planning, and allocation amongst programs in advance.

-Documenting and preparing the team to be as autonomous as possible, eliminating dependency on this role as the only POC.

-Helping PM and Project leads determine best candidates to travel and support testing at all levels, including domestic and international trips.

-Performing testing, attending SIL and Flight Test Events both domestically and Internationally when personnel cannot be allocated.

-TRR and FRR generator/reviewer and building to become a Subject Matter Expert on Sniper.

-Development of dedicated and ad-hoc team to maintain effective testing plans and skill growth.

-Preparation and planning of multiple configurations and combinations to help project team determine most effective path, balancing risk with time to perform.

-Coordination with Software Engineering to receive and report SW issues, negotiate new changes and ensure SW OFPs are effective and noted.

-Coordination with Product Support / Field Support (Logistics and Sustainment) to route maintenance training, sustainment activities in field, flight or operational issue information, and growing to provide Subject Matter Expertise in troubleshooting and decisions forward.

-Organize and allocate Lab and tower use by internal, external, and touring groups - noting Proprietary Information and License restrictions.

All Sniper specific tasks of this role can be learned on-the-job. Organization, planning, direct but friendly communication, willingness to work with and learn from more experienced leads, and desire to be a significant leader in a very complex program for several years are essential to the right candidate.

Basic Qualifications -Demonstrated prior experience developing/integrating/test complex systems in a dynamic customer environment.

-Demonstrated experience as an integration team leader or significant technical contributor to an integration effort.

Desired skills -Demonstrated familiarity with LM-MFC development and integration processes.

-Prior experience leading projects with aggressive schedules in a dynamic customer environment.

-Prior experience with Cost Account Management and Senior Management Technical Reviews (Mission Success, TRR).

-Prior experience on the Sniper program.
