Lockheed Martin Staff Reliability Engineer / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida
Oversee execution of reliability, maintainability, and testability activities. Plan and execute reliability tasks including FRACAS, failure review boards/corrective actions, development tasks such as predictions, FMECAs, BIT development and effectively analysis, HALT, and BIT demonstrations. Actively participate in program reviews, production yield improvement activities and corrective action boards. Typical Duties include: • Develop reliability predictions using Relex and/or approved prediction methodologies for mechanical and electrical designs. • Identify Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) trends to identify and prioritize failure modes to investigate for corrective actions. • Perform Built-In-Test (BIT) analysis, implementation, and validation • Interact with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, program managers and customers during the investigation, documentation and resolution of system failures. • Review Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), support Concept Screening Board (CSB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB). • Participate in Corrective Action Boards (CAB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB). • Support design reviews and test activities as required.
Basic Qualifications -Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance. -Experience with performing reliability predictions, using Relex or similar tools. -Experience with reliability FRACAS. -Experience with performing built-in-test (BIT) analysis. -Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience presenting technical findings and solutions to peers, customers, and management. -Strong Computer Skills and Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. -Experience with FMECA (Failure mode, effects and criticality analysis) process.
Desired skills -Active secret clearance preferred. -Experience with planning, executing and reporting on reliability growth test activities.
