Lockheed Martin Survivability Performance Analysis Engineer / Orlando, Florida in Orlando, Florida

This individual will be responsible for performing Survivability analysis for a complex weapon system. Develops tools for the system survivability toolset, to be delivered to the government customer. Will perform trade studies and analyses to refine and allocate systems requirements, and support M&S activities. Background required in radar and sensor technologies, to facilitate model development.

A Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development of Radio Frequency systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. This activity includes a requirement to coordinate vendors and other team members in development of either passive or active RF sensor systems for integration test and evaluation. Activities inherent in the design process include support of trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.

Experience with military Anti-Radiation Homing (ARH) or passive RF electronic surveillance (ES) hardware is of considerable value. Experience in ES/ARH systems engineering, algorithm development, signal processing, simulation and analysis tools (MATLAB) is specifically desired. The capability to develop threat models is especially valuable. Experience with Simulink is desired. Candidates should have a strong fundamental understanding of radar systems and performance modeling.

Basic Qualifications Simulation experience in MATLAB is required.

Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years is required.

Candidate must have expertise in RF system performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flow down of systems requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Good hands-on hardware skills are desired. Excellent communication skills are beneficial.

Desired skills Simulink experience is of significant benefit.
