Lockheed Martin System Engineering Mgr in Orlando, Florida

This FLM will manage the daily execution and systems administration activities associated with the F-35 Pilot Training Devices Program. The selected candidate will provide functional leadership of 10-15 System Administrators and Lab Coordinators. They will coordinate required support for in lab development activities, Integration and Test, as well as system administration personnel for deployment support of the completed Pilot Training Simulators. Candidate will directly support the program by either performing supplemental duties as a systems administrator or lab coordinator ensuring smooth operations of the integration and test efforts.

This role is primarily for 1st Shift work; however, program demands may require periodic 2nd Shift or weekend support to meet program milestones.

Basic Qualifications Must have a Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years and have the ability to obtain special access

  • Proven performance as a team leader, leading working in complex development environments
  • Strong Leadership skills; including coordinating tasking between multiple groups and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with complex systems integration; including troubleshooting hardware and software anomalies.

Desired skills - Existing F-35 Special Access Clearances - Previous F-35 ALIS or PTD experience - Experience working in or Knowledge of SAPF facilities

Background in: - Windows and/or Linux System Administration - Network Administration - Lab Technician Skills
