Lockheed Martin Systems Analysis Engineer / Electro-Optics / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

This task includes the development/definition of sensor level and system level architecture, which includes collaboration with the system integrator to ensure a total solution. Task will include the development, definition and documentation of all sensor level requirements including performance, interface and design specifications. In addition to developing and defining sensor level requirements this individual will establish the flow down of these requirements to the subsystem level (i.e. optics, IDCA and dither mechanism). The sensor interface requirements will be defined and maintained in an Interface Requirements document. Additional responsibilities include trade studies and analyses required to define the processor and/or FPGA processing requirements for the sensor(s)

A Systems Engineer performing the System Analyses function seeks to strongly influence the inherent system performance capabilities and feature sets of an objective system through definition of design challenges and risks, compliant architectural design, performance analyses of critical requirements, performance/cost trade studies, and participation in the requirements flow down process. Skills related to open system architecture design and partitioning, system functionality definition including system states and modes, and design features related to anti-tamper and cyber security are of considerable value. Model based systems engineering and end-to-end performance simulations are required in order to simulate the impact of requirements changes and defined environmental changes upon system performance and systems behaviors. Anti-tamper experience including experience related to secure software boot and crypto key handling is sought. Cybersecurity experience dealing with threat identification, defensive measures, optimal system architecture, as well as threat eradication is also of considerable interest.


Basic Qualifications Skills related to inclusion of software provisions related to software requirements and design assurance, FPGA functionality and interfaces, bus loading analyses, and mission planning features are also valuable. System analysis may also include participation in Safety of Flight (SOF) modeling and analysis activity. It also includes testability analyses in support of verification activities, including generation of functional configuration audit framework and population. Generation and maintenance of Open System Architecture Management Plan (OSAMP), Software Assurance Plans and Program Protection Plans may be required.

System analyses responsibilities may also include supply chain management activity related to specification generation and supply chain management of anti-tamper and cybersecurity provisioning. Generation of ICDs and compliance of supplier design is also critical to generation and maintenance of systems performance modeling based upon subsystem demonstrated performance.

Analysis responsibility may include Electro-Optical (EO) design and analysis of EO candidate systems for both ground and airborne sensor suite applications.

Must have a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.

Desired skills DOORS and MATLAB are of benefit to this position. Knowledge of Electro-Optics is desired.
