Lockheed Martin Systems Engineer Sr in Orlando, Florida
The Systems Engineer will support the ALIS Program team within development and sustainment operations. More specifically, the selected candidate in this role will provide systems engineering support primarily in conjunction with ALIS hardware and technical documentation deliveries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working across the team to ensure that they meet the commitment to delivering high quality products on schedule and on budget. Specific responsibilities include: Assisting with the management of hardware deliveries, virtually coordinating Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) inputs across a wide range of sites, developing and/or maintaining strong relationships with our customers and partners, leading the development of Field Service Bulletins (FSBs) to support ALIS Deployments, reviewing and developing technical papers, working possible trade studies, and assuming the lead role for technical documentation update and delivery.
Tasking also may include: analysis of system requirements, development of specifications and test procedures, conducting of subsystem and system Integration and Test (I&T), conducting of formal system acceptance testing, problem documentation and resolution in support to in-house and fielded systems.
The applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation. Some travel may be a required.

West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast.
Basic Qualifications - Accredited B.S. in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. - Strong communicator and ability to motivate others in order to meet deadlines - Well organized, detail oriented, manages own workflow, meets deadlines and milestones, work well with little oversight - Technical writing skills and experience - Experience with the System Design of software
Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
Desired skills - Experience with engineering estimation - Experience interacting with Joint Program Office (JPO) Customer(s) - JSF Program clearance - Model Based System Design (MBSD) experience - Familiarity with system tools such as JIRA, GenBOE, JDL, PDM - Prior ALIS experience
