Lockheed Martin Systems Engineering Manager / Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

This position is contingent upon a future contract award (expected in Q4 of 2017) supporting a Missiles & Fire Control program within the Engineering & Technology function, as well as Customer funding for this position.

Oversee execution of reliability and system safety activities for the LRASM Program. Manage personnel in execution of reliability and safety tasks. Provide status on system safety, reliability engineering and FRACAS activities as part of management reviews. Coordinate system safety efforts for execution of tasks including system and S/W safety hazard analyses. Present specialty engineering status at program reviews. The successful candidate should be an agile thinker and executor able to move from a strategic level to the implementation level in interactions with multiple audiences and groups.

Basic Qualifications Candidates must have Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance. Experience with the principles and requirements of missile design, integration and test efforts. Experience with Department of Defense (DoD), Joint Service Safety Review Boards, or equivalent. Experience with technical presentation to customers and senior management. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software products. Working knowledge of the following specialty engineering tasks: Safety Hazard Analyses, including Fault Tree Analysis Reliability predictions FMECA and BIT effectivity analyses Maintainability analysis FRACAS process

Desired skills Experience in managing technical personnel highly desired. Earned value management experience. Experience with technical proposal activities including Technical Volume development, man-power estimation and BOE production. Reliability test experience a plus. Rocket motor experience along with fuze development/qualification to MIL-STD-1316 and/or ignition circuit design IAW MIL-STD-1901 is a significant plus. Software Safety analyses per AMCOM 385-17 and AOP 52; including Hardware/Software fault insertion design and test experience. Experience in electrical circuit design and/or performing bent pin analysis/energy trace. Energetic material qualification and insensitive munitions testing (IAW MIL-STD-2105/NAVSEA 8020.5) or lithium battery certification to NAVSEA S9310-AQ-SAF-010 experience is a plus. Knowledge of Human Factors and Systems Engineering. Reliability and Maintainability engineering knowledge. Hazardous Materials Management knowledge.
