An experienced Systems Engineer knowledgeable in radar design and analysis is required to function as the Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) for a major subsystem. The CPE is responsible for the flow down and tracking of all top level system requirements to testable modules and subsystem level specifications. The CPE will conduct subsystem level trade studies, concept and architecture development, and system engineering design assurance reviews. The CPE will work with the integration and test team and the algorithm development team to manage requirements verification planning and execution. The CPE will conduct subsystem level trade studies, concept and architecture development, and system engineering design assurance reviews. The CPE will also confirm that requirements are met during all phases through integration, verification and validation. The ability to lead SME's and manage a major subcontractor is required. The successful candidate will need to complete company sponsored CPE training.
A Systems Radar Design and Analysis Engineer is responsible for the development of Radio Frequency systems (radar related systems and subsystems) to include design, integration, test, and performance evaluation. This activity includes a requirement to coordinate vendors and other team members in development of either passive or active RF sensor systems for integration test and evaluation. Activities inherent in the design process include support of trade studies, presentations, proposals and related activities.
Basic Qualifications Candidate must have expertise in RF system performance analysis, system definition, requirements analysis, and flow down of systems requirements to testable modular hardware and software. Good hands-on hardware skills are desired. Excellent communication skills are beneficial.
Must have a secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years.
