Lockheed Martin Hardware Engineer Stf in Owego, New York
The candidate will serve as a Hardware Engineering Lead with responsibilities spanning Capital, Research & Development, Proposal, and Contract related work. The candidate will be responsible for designing, procuring and integrating numerous COTS, semi-COTS, and custom hardware components and systems in support of multiple mission systems for processor/graphics development.
The candidate will serve as a point of contact for internal and external customers, cross-functional teams, and program leadership to determine interface requirements, ensure architecture suitability, provide parts procurement support, design/build/document cable and lab equipment, and lead integrate & test.
Other responsibilities include: -Work with in the hardware team to provide direction for meeting technical and schedule commitments.
-Develop system requirements and system architecture which includes special processing technologies.
-Knowledge and practice use of Earned Value Management
-Frequent interaction and communication with customers and suppliers
Basic Qualifications Strong technical, leadership, and organizational skills; specifically within the Systems and/or Digital Hardware engineering domains.
Card/Digital Circuit Design, FPGA Design, and/or Unit Engineer experience
Desired skills Current knowledge of RMS policies and procedures.
