Lockheed Martin Security Representative in Palmdale, California

The candidate will be required to interpret and implement the NISPOM, DoD Manuals (1-4), ICD manuals and directives. The candidate will work proposal activities within the SAP/SAR environment.

The candidate must possess and demonstrate superior verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to collaborate with internal and external customers as well as with teammates. The candidate is responsible for keeping up to date on all changes to security policy and directives issued by cognizant Government Security organizations.

Candidate must be a self-starter and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be able to demonstrate sound judgment, a strong attention to detail, and make rational decisions. Candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified programs.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility requiring special access.

Basic Qualifications Active/current Secret Clearance and meet SCI eligibility

Special Access Program (SAP) Security knowledge

Experience evaluating Program Security Guides and Government Directives such as the NISPOM, DoD Manuals (1-4) and ICD manuals

Security experience dealing with investigations, violations, incidents, classification determinations, inadvertent disclosures, and /or foreign travel/contacts, etc.

Ability to thrive in a very fluid, dynamic, and fast-paced Special Access Program environment with multiple customers
