The candidate will be a member of the Lockheed Martin Cyber Solutions Team supporting a US Government and commercial customer. The candidate will perform Operations and Maintenance Support by applying Subject Matter Expertise in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, including abilities to identify potential repercussions, troubleshoot issues, determine required corrective actions, implement system modifications provide recommendations and solicit feedback from the customer and workforce to achieve all project objectives.

Basic Qualifications • Perform internal and external vulnerability assessments as well as penetration • Perform well controlled vulnerability exploitation/penetration testing on applications, network protocols, and databases • Perform network reconnaissance and security forensics on systems • Demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards • Provide knowledge in computer and network forensics. • Conduct vulnerability assessments/penetration tests of information systems. • Develops, researches and maintains proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trend in computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and encryption. • Identifies, deters, monitors, and investigates computer and network intrusions. • Provide computer forensic support to high technology investigations in the form of evidence seizure, computer forensic analysis, and data recovery. • Uses current hashing algorithms to validate forensic images; diagrams networks and images servers to support digital forensics operations • Utilizes a variety of industry standard tools and techniques to collect a system’s current state data and catalog, document, extract, collect, and preserve information

• CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required) CompTIA Net+, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security +, Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or Certified Ethical Hacker.

• CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Designation - US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Willingness to submit to a Tier 5 Single-Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).

Desired skills • Uses dynamic analysis to identify network intrusions and network monitoring tools to capture real-time traffic spawned by any running malicious code; identifies internet activity that is triggered by malware; identifies network/host-based characteristics and assists in drafting recommendations to mitigate malware effects • Utilizes various government and commercial resources to research known malware, define its characteristics, and report findings and mitigation recommendations to appropriate personnel • Uses prescribed methods and materials to provide basic incident response and/or technical assistance to situational response teams (e.g., scanning digital media for viruses) • Follows and understands the proper procedures to preserve chain of custody for legal review • Critical thinking skills, both qualitatively and quantitatively. • Ability to work well with other organizations and personnel with disparate backgrounds. • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal. • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. • Strong technical, analytical and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and with a team.
