Lockheed Martin Project Manager - Energy Industry / Energy Efficiency / Utility Analytics in San Francisco, California
Lockheed Martin seeks a Project Manager to coordinate the planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering programs involving energy efficiency efforts for California’s Investor Owned Utilities (IOUs. Candidate will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing programs along with future program development, and serve as liaison between Lockheed Martin program management and existing and potential clients in California. Specific Job duties would include:
• Evaluate RFQ and RFP for IOUs. • Attend meetings and seminars to determine IOU’s needs • Focus on strategies to help develop new markets products and services • Manage client and customer relations in the SF bay area • Promote and sell prescriptive (deemed) measures within PG&E service territory • Manage our subcontractor and trade ally program • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Basic Qualifications Energy industry experience is required, including energy efficiency, demand response, and utility analytics. Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, strategic project implementation, and program management is required. Demonstrated experience with commercial sales, marketing, and business development is required.
• Experience in program design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. • Experience with job walks at client facilities. • Ability to review energy assessment studies. • Knowledge of the latest, deemed offerings and available technologies for focused industries. • History of writing and reviewing technical reports for accuracy. .
Desired skills • Fifteen years managing utility, vendor, and client relations. • Five years within PG&E’s energy efficiency program portfolio, developing, launching, managing portfolio needs. • Demonstrated ability to develop winning proposals.
