The Air Vehicle Control Account Manager (CAM) for the CH-53K program has the authority and accountability for specific Control Accounts within the Air Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT). The Control Account Manager is responsible for the development, definition, and management of the scope, schedule, and budget for the work contained in their Control Accounts. The Control Account Manager will also be responsible for the oversight and monitoring of the Control Account and Work Package Managers programmatically reporting to the Deputy Assistant Program Manager. In addition, the Control Account Managers will be introduced to bid & proposal work in support of upgrades to the CH-53K for current and future contracts.
The Control Account Manager is part of the Program Management Team and will report directly to the Assistant Program Manager (APM) for their respective IPT as well as receives guidance from the Program Integrator. The responsibilities of the Control Account Manager will be the Earned Value point of contact for the IPT and provide direction and oversight for the accounts they manage. The CAM will support IPT Schedule Integration and Business Management meetings. This individual acts as the IPTs representative at program level meetings regarding Earned Value and Schedule related discussions. This includes preparing presentations and delivering briefings to the NAVAIR customer and internal leadership. Manage Control Account scope, schedule, and budget. This includes analysis of program data and metrics to determine Control Account performance. Develop Control Account variance reports per Sikorsky Planning and Control System Description and program standard work for full criteria earned value system compliance.
As a Control Account Manager, individual is responsible for monthly and weekly status of IMS activities. This includes reporting on past performance, analysis of Earned Value data, projecting future performance and creating planning for the execution of future scope. This requires contributions to program deliverables to support the monthly CPR and annual Estimates at Complete (EAC) processes. Using the CH-53K Risk and Opportunities process, work with the APM, Deputy APM, Technical Lead, Control Account Managers/Work Package Managers and their Financial Analyst to develop plans to mitigate cost growth and develop a realistic EAC. Work with the APM, Deputy APM and Technical Lead, Control Account Managers/Work Package Managers and their PP&C analyst to mitigate schedule variance, including the development of accurate projections (estimates to complete).Working closely with their Finance and PP&C analysts, participate in and prepare the Control Account Managers/Work Package Managers for daily CAM, Program/IPT level and monthly DCMA surveillance reviews. This includes the running of weekly task execution meetings within the IPT.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
Desired skills Minimum 4-5 years of earned value experience on an ACAT 1 full criteria program is a plus
The ability to work and integrate with technical team members and suppliers/team members, experience on full criteria EVM programs and critical path management. Candidate must also be highly motivated, flexible, and able to lead a team of CAMs to meet a rigorous monthly business rhythm. Candidate will be part of the Air Vehicle IPT leadership and will assist APM, DAPM and Technical Lead with weekly status/staff meetings and may also represent APM and/or DAPM at meetings with technical team, Program Senior Leadership and/or USG customer. Strong analysis and presentation skills also desired. Experienced with Primavera, SAP, Winsight, and Program Management Console. Ability to work and integrate with technical team members to understand all aspects of the product being developed/produced and the earned value implications.
