Lockheed Martin Software Engineer, Staff in Silverdale, Washington

Work directly with customers to determine system requirements, design specifications, and customized software requirements. Coordinates with a team of software engineers to complete software development assignments and participate in software team tasks which may include, and not limited to: requirements, software design, software development, software peer reviews, testing, troubleshooting, planning, maintenance, and process improvement with regards to FBM Missile production software systems.

*Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role. *This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen

Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related discipline, or equivalent experience. Experience in developing system requirements, design, testing and product proofing/integration Knowledge of software development lifecycles Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and SQL/PLSQL Demonstrated leadership capabilities in coordinating multiple tasks with a software engineering team

Desired skills Ability to understand complex architectures/requirements and create applicable test cases/scenarios Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members Experience with source and version control repositories (e.g., SVN "Apache Subversion”, Team System, etc.) Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies Experience with JavaFx, Java Web Start and/or Java Applets Experience with Java JEE web application software development skills (e.g. HTML/XML, JavaScript, AJAX, Servlets, and JSPs). Experience with Oracle ADF Experience with documentation data repository software management systems including induction, management and distribution of such documentation Exceptional communication skills Demonstrated motivational capabilities
