Lockheed Martin Energy Efficiency Program Design Lead Analyst in St. Louis Missouri United States

Job Description The primary responsibility of the Program Design Lead Analyst is to provide strategic planning and program design support to the Energy Efficiency department. Duties include department level as well as individual program planning and design support including energy and demand savings analysis, cost-benefit analysis, integration of industry best practices, new program design and development, continuous improvement of existing program design, and the development of long term strategic plans as well as annual program plans for all efficiency programs.

Candidate will interact with all members of Energy Efficiency team as well as with contractors, trade allies, and various partner organizations. The range of activities for this position may run from developing overall potential analysis studies for efficiency efforts, to developing mid-year design changes in response to changes in consumer demand as a result of programmatic activity in the dynamic marketplace.

More specifically, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Program design, including identification, analysis and selection of appropriate energy efficiency measures and development of effective delivery strategies for each sector to achieve annual savings targets while remaining within the approved budget for all efficiency programs

  • Developing annual Efficiency program plans

  • Supporting Program Managers and other members of the team with:

  • Analysis of program delivery to program plan

  • Development and modification of program design as necessitated by program performance

  • Support and interface with trade allies and other market actors

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Concentration in Engineering or Energy Resources, Sciences, Policy, Business) required.

  • Energy efficiency OR utilities experience.

  • Program Planning

Desired skills

  • Five (5) year’s experience in a program planning role for various commercial and industrial customer efficiency program design.

  • Experience with an electric or gas utility company a plus.

  • An understanding of energy management, regulatory support, design, account management, and engineering.

  • Industry certifications, professional affiliations, and publications
