Lockheed Martin College Student Non-Tech (Intern) in Stratford, Connecticut

Performs assignments in CH-53K Business Acquisition Management organization (e.g., Finance, Contracts, Planning, Materiel, Proposal) during summer of 2017. Lead business pursuit in the Business Acquisition Management: Statement of Work (SOW) and Specification development; Business Acquisition Team (BAT) lead throughout the proposal process to negotiation and contract award. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Serve as point of contact assisting with assigned pursuits with the U.S. Navy & Marine Corps • Interface with U.S. Government Business Office (USGBO) and Finance to develop proposal budgets • With support from Engineering / Logistics lead / Program Management, develop concise SOWs with focus on company risk mitigation • Generate proposal estimates for Programs and coordinate submission of Finance and Earned Value team estimates • With Contracts lead, coordinate fact-finding responses and negotiation strategies to achieve positive settlement objectives • Implement and manage metrics to ensure proposals execution to plan • Provide status to Navy on proposal progress and identify / elevate any issues that require resolution Other: At direction of Program Management, support other program objectives as needed including: • Develop and track Bid and Proposal budgets for the 53K platform • Consolidate BAM briefing inputs for executive level briefings for communication to the Program Vice President

Basic Qualifications 1-Year of college Basic skills in Microsoft Office Strong communication skills
